New book release: Agrometeorologia

In recent decades, the challenges posed by climate change and the increasing demand for food have made agrometeorology more relevant than ever. 

The Italian school of agrometeorology has trained researchers, academics, technicians and officials from regional and national services who have been supporting the agricultural sector on the ground for decades. Additionally, in recent years, there has been significant activity in the private sector aimed at developing agrometeorological tools and applications that are increasingly demanded by the agricultural world to optimize resource use and productivity inputs in a context of extreme climate variability.

This book, that wants to be a reference text, thanks to the contribution of numerous authors who are experts in the field, aims to offer a systematic overview of the fundamental meteorological elements and processes, measurement methodologies, and the application of meteorological knowledge in agriculture.
