I am very pleased to inform you that the Impact Factor of the Italian Journal of Agrometeorology has reached the value of 1.6, which represents the highest level ever reached in the course of its history. At the same time, this has made it possible to reach, albeit only slightly, the second quartile in the agronomy category.
This excellent result is due to the collaboration of the entire international community of agrometeorologists (readers, authors, reviewers, editors) with the fundamental support of the Italian Association of Agrometeorology that has always believed in and supported the IJAm.
With the hope that IJAm increasingly represents an important tool for the work of all of us, we are certain of everyone's support to continue the path of growth.

Read More Read more about The Impact Factor of IJAm continues to GROW!Climate and weather variables are major drivers of agroecosystem production. On one hand, current and future climate change is causing an increased evapotranspirative demand from the atmosphere, but on the other hand it is also affecting the availability of water for crops. As a result, ensuring water availability for the agricultural sector is a pressing issue and it is necessary to rethink irrigation management in order to improve water use efficiency and maintain or increase crop productivity.
