The Società Italiana di Filosofia Politica (SIFP - Italian Society for Political Philosophy) was founded in 2001 to promote the study and knowledge of political philosophy in Italy, and foster the dialogue with the international debate. It gathers researchers and scholars who work, do research or teach in this field, both in Italy and abroad.

We regularly organise conferences and have recently launched this open access journal, which aims at voicing different perspectives in Italian political philosophy and nurturing their dialogue with political philosophy at the international level.
