Abstract

The textweaves a series of notes and reflections on the presence of latin american art at the Venice Biennale, connecting aspects related to the conception and historical model of the event itself with the conformation of the “latin american art” category. It analyses the event Libertà al Cile (1974) – which announces the opening of the event towards the aesthetics margins – and this concept reconsideration at the 56th Biennial, All theWorld’s Futures (2015).
