Una lettura intersezionale della giustizia tra gruppi di età: limiti e possibilità

Questo articolo intende contribuire al dibattito sulla giustizia fra generazioni compresenti da una prospettiva relazionale e intersezionale, indagando come l’età si intrecci con altre categorie sociali nel modellare dinamiche di disuguaglianza e discriminazione. Pertanto, l’articolo presenta il concetto di ageismo e considera l’intersezionalità essenziale per cogliere come la costruzione sociale dell'età sia plasmata da presupposti patriarcali, esponendo maggiormente le donne all’ageismo. Tuttavia, l’articolo considera i possibili limiti di una prospettiva intersezionale alla giustizia fra gruppi di età, evidenziando le difficoltà nel considerare ‘giovani’ e ‘anziani’ come gruppi sociali e sottolineando il ruolo predominante del genere, rispetto all’età, nel gendered ageism.
