Questo saggio indaga fino a che punto la svolta animale del postumanesimo abbia non soltanto ampliato l’agenda dei temi e favorito la convergenza fra scienze dell’uomo e scienze della natura, ma anche recepito il punto di vista animale. Analizza poi come l’Animal Standpoint Theory (AST) insegni a non separare l’oggetto del discorso e il soggetto di parola, e sostanzi un’etica della ricerca capace di prendersi cura delle relazioni con gli altri animali e ascoltarne le rivendicazioni.
