Abstract

This essay brings into focus the contributions made to science, in general, and to individual research programs, in specific, by librarians and archivists.  The author suggests that researchers acknowledge their contributions of these professionals, both in their publications and in person.  Researchers can also seek opportunities to meaningfully and substantively engage with these providers of intellectual property regarding the science to which they contribute.
