Editors
The editors of TRIBELON are responsible for safeguarding the scholarly quality, editorial independence and ethical standards of the journal. Editorial decisions are based on the journal's aims and scope, the quality of the manuscript, peer-review reports and compliance with ethical requirements.
Editorial independence
Editors evaluate submissions without discrimination based on nationality, institutional affiliation, career stage, gender, political views, religion or other personal characteristics of the authors. Editorial decisions must not be influenced by commercial interests or personal relationships.
Peer-review management
Editors are responsible for assigning manuscripts to appropriate independent reviewers, protecting the confidentiality of the review process and ensuring that reviewer comments are considered fairly. When conflicts of interest arise, the manuscript must be handled by an independent editor.
Ethical oversight
Editors must take reasonable steps to identify and manage suspected plagiarism, redundant publication, data or image manipulation, authorship disputes, conflicts of interest and other ethical concerns. When necessary, they may request clarifications, corrections, additional documentation or institutional input.
Post-publication action
Editors work with the publisher to handle corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, complaints and appeals. Any post-publication action must be transparent, proportionate and clearly linked to the published record.
