Una nuova politica d'immigrazione per rafforzare il processo d'integrazione europea

Abstract

Many times, the European Union has proved unable to take incisive measures on immigration and asylum. Indeed, a strict pursuance of the so called “Dublin Regulation” and a lack of cooperation among the Member States have deterred the Union from its founding values, making the EU victim of internal tensions, conflicts and harsh divisions. Therefore, a new immigration policy, no longer based on containment measures only, is needed, so that a genuine European integration process may harden.
