Abstract
Questo studio indaga l’impiego del game-based design e degli ambienti del metaverso come strumenti per la comunicazione della sostenibilità in ambito montano e per l’accesso inclusivo. Sviluppata nell’ambito di NODES – Digital and Sustainable Mountain, la ricerca assume un’area montana come caso studio per esplorare in che modo i sistemi digitali immersivi possano supportare l’interpretazione del territorio senza limitarsi a replicarne la realtà fisica.
Il progetto segue una metodologia di Design Thinking che integra analisi del contesto, raccolta dei dati, progettazione dell’esperienza utente e verifiche iterative. L’ambiente del metaverso organizza i temi della sostenibilità in percorsi interattivi coerenti con i flagship project di NODES.
Una seconda applicazione, sviluppata in ambito educativo, ha verificato la trasferibilità dello stesso approccio a scenari inclusivi caratterizzati da condizioni di vulnerabilità fisica e sociale. I risultati suggeriscono che sistemi immersivi basati sul gioco, se accuratamente progettati, possono favorire il coinvolgimento, sostenere forme di accesso esperienziale e contribuire alla comunicazione della sostenibilità.
Lo studio evidenzia il potenziale degli spazi immersivi come infrastrutture flessibili per l’attivazione territoriale e l’apprendimento inclusivo.
